Queen of Wands

Who she is: As a person, The queen of wands is a woman with seemingly an endless amount of drive that manifests as energy out of what appears to be nowhere. Creative energy comes from the deepest and most mysterious inner spark and is represented by the wands suit. The queen of wands reaches down deep and draws her energy to the surface like magic. She, like the energizer bunny, just keeps going and going, and not just because she wants to, but because she must.

If she ever took the time to slow down, she probably feels or believes that her life would fall apart along with all of the people who depend on her.

She often works two or even three jobs, or owns her own business. She is friendly, appealing and popular. She is self assured, confident, upbeat and optimistic. She takes care of business first and does what must be done. She is a no-nonsense kind of person. She sometimes carries a very heavy load and a lot of responsibility but you might never know it by watching her. She will smile and light up the room and offer to help others. She is honest and sincere.

I did a reading for a woman who fit her description. She sat across the table from me smiling. She had long wavy red hair and wore a yellow blouse. Red and yellow are the colors of fire. I was using the Mythic deck for the reading. The first card I drew from the deck was the queen of wands. There on the card was a woman with long wavy red hair staring back at me. I looked up again and saw her across the table. This was the queen of wands if I had ever seen her. She was a woman who worked three jobs and supported her children and her grandchildren. She did not complain about it.

Therefore, in my Infinite Visions deck, I have depicted the queen of wands with the colors of fire, and a shocking head of wavy red hair. She is surrounded by fire. The flowers in her hair represent her cheerful sunny personality. The volcano in the background represents her endless source of creative fire. She holds a bow in one hand and reaches for the magic wand's light with the other hand. The bow and arrow is her weapon of choice and she wears a pouch of wooden arrows on her back. She is an excellent shot and she will shoot to kill anyone who threatens her family.

The Painting: The background is taken from a painting by Thomas Cole of Mount Aetena painted in 1844. The figure of the Queen is an altered version of a painting call Rising Spring by George Arthur Gaskell,  1897.

Regarding your occupation: News about a job is in the making, and your new boss or supervisor could be a woman. She is friendly and a hard worker. Although she may expect you to work as hard as she does, she is on your side and very supportive and fair. For a man, you may be attracted to an older woman at work and be swept up into a passionate affair.

Regarding Romance: The affair begins with a strong spiritual connection but it is full of passion, excitement and uncertainty. This is because there is a lot going on in both of your lives and your coming together is like two moving objects that collide and get intertwined. Your two circles of family and friends, events and drama inter mingle and the disturbance is a bit disruptive. Carry on and make an effort to adjust if you want it to work. You may have to say no to some things in order to say yes to love.

Regarding your health: Because you draw your energy from a deep spiritual center, your health is robust. Like the energy of the chariot you charge forward even when you are fighting a bug. You benefit best from natural remedies and fresh food. Be sure to drink plenty of water. Find a way to relieve stress, what ever it takes, even if it is simply sex or a hot bath.

General Advice: Being a person with direction and purpose you are seldom in need of advice because you usually know where you are going and what you need to do and what you want to accomplish. The best advice for you is to stop and smell the roses once in a while and treat yourself to some relaxation. Don't overload yourself with so much responsibility that you loose your creative edge. Don't fall into the competitive state of mind and let yourself be rushed. Take your time and know that creativity will win over the competition every time. Don't be in a hurry. Do it right the first time and you won't have to do it over. Your calm will impress and inspire others.
