Five of Cups
A one card reading

Five of cups:
Suffering often simply comes from resisting what is. What is lost is lost, so logically, there is no sense crying over spilled milk. We know this, but sometimes we just like to wallow in our misery or sometimes we just can’t find a way out of it. This too shall pass. So we wade through it.
In my personal experience, the energy of the five of cups is not always a sad feeling or a break up, but it comes to me as a tired feeling that can only be described as the “blahs” Even though I don’t drink, a good way to describe this energy is that it is like a hangover. It is a low point in your energy flow, a point that simply lacks enthusiasm.
I got up one morning feeling tired, sluggish and stiff. I drew a card for the moment. It was the five of cups; the first picture posted above.
I took note of that and compared it to how I was feeling in that moment. As far as I knew, I had not had an emotional loss. But the picture was a good reflection of how I was feeling at that moment. Yep, that about describes it.
The energy on the first design above is similar to my current design in Infinite Visions. In my mind, I dubbed it the “blah” card or the “hangover.”
Although this card has shown up when I was sad because of a loss, (which is the traditional meaning,) it also shows up when the "blah" energy is present.
Sometimes a picture does speak louder than words.
